Meet the Lakeland Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Lakeland

We run a small, tight crew here in Lakeland, and that’s on purpose. Every technician who walks through your door has been background-checked, uniformed, and trained to work to one standard: The Haven Standard. No subcontractors. No day-labor crews from a parking lot. The people below are the ones who answer the phone, drive the truck, and do the work. You’ll see the same faces on the emergency call at 2 a.m. that you saw on the install job last spring.

Our People

Marcus Deller, Owner

Marcus started Servo Garage Doors Lakeland in 2015 after spending seven years working for national chains and watching the same pattern repeat: a technician shows up, opens the door, and gives a price that changes by the time the invoice lands. He built this business around a different idea, one that became Clause 1 of The Haven Standard: a flat, written price and written scope before any work starts. If you bring in a written estimate from another company, he’ll give you a free second opinion on it. Marcus still rides along on installs when the schedule gets heavy. He’s the one who answers the phone after hours more often than not, and he’ll tell you what a torsion spring does in one sentence and what it costs in the next.

Danny R., Lead Technician

Danny has been repairing garage doors in Polk County for eleven years, the last four with our Lakeland crew. He specializes in torsion spring replacement and opener logic board diagnostics, which is the part of the job most technicians won’t touch past swapping the whole unit. Danny is the one who photographs the failed spring before quoting the replacement, every single time. It’s Clause 4 of The Haven Standard, and he treats it like gospel. On his days off, Danny restores a 1978 Camaro in his garage, so he understands what it means when someone cares about what happens inside that space.

Luis M., Senior Installer

Luis leads our new door installations and has measured and hung more than 2,000 garage doors since joining Servo in 2018. He’s certified on all eight major brands we service: LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, Craftsman, and Raynor. Luis is the one who walks a homeowner through the difference between a steel-back insulated door and a single-layer door for a Lakeland garage that faces the afternoon sun. He grew up in Winter Haven and knows how Polk County humidity eats at unsealed hardware. When he’s not installing doors, Luis coaches youth baseball at Carter Road Park.

Katie S., Service Coordinator

Katie is the voice on the phone when you call during business hours, and she’s trained to do one thing before anything else: get the details right. She asks what the door is doing, not just what brand it is. She’s the reason the technician arrives with a picture of the job in his head and the right parts on the truck. Katie has been with Servo since 2020 and handles scheduling, parts ordering, and the documented photo record files every customer receives after each visit.

Chase T., Apprentice

Chase is two years into his apprenticeship and works alongside Danny on repair calls and Luis on installs. He handles the hands-on work under supervision: installing track brackets, balancing door panels, running opener wiring, and learning torque settings on torsion springs before he touches a winding bar alone. Chase grew up in Lakeland, graduated from Kathleen High, and spent a year doing apartment maintenance before joining us. He’s already picked up the habit we care about most: saying what he found, not what he felt about it.

One Standard, Every Job

One Standard, Every Job

Every member of this team works and answers to the same rules. The Haven Standard is a written standard, not a vibe, and it applies whether you’re getting a $35 roller replaced or a full 16-foot insulated door installed. Clause 1 means the price is fixed in writing before work starts. Clause 4 means the failed part gets photographed and shown to you. And the 365-Day Done Right Promise means that if a repair isn’t right, we come back and make it right. No handshake promises, no fine print. That’s the difference between a crew that works for a brand and a crew that works for a standard.
